Proper digestion is an essential element to a healthy body

In order to enjoy a healthy body, proper digestion is the key. It is extremely essential to ensure that there is the proper level of stomach acid in your body. This aids in proper digestion and the right absorption of nutrients. This is where apple cider vinegar (ACV) comes in and helps in increasing the stomach acid and helping in the digestion.

Starting this practice and getting on a normal routine with taking ACV before meals and you should see the difference it brings to improve digestion.

Get relief from gas and bloating

Diluting the water with a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar can help fight inflammation and provide a quick solution to the heartburn symptoms. Apple cider vinegar also helps the balance of stomach acid levels.

I start each day, before food, before anything else, with a tablespoon of ACV in a glass of warm water. In case, you don’t like the taste of the mixture, you can include a few drops of honey. I’m a fan of Bragg’s ACV and they seem to the market leader.

Just note too, that when taking ACV, since it is an acid, it can hurt your teeth enamel, so I always swish some water in my mouth after drinking it, just to rinse my teeth off!

Do you take it before every meal or once in the morning

    1. Hi Susan
I personally only take it in the morning. I know some people recommend it at every meal, but that seems like a lot unless its helping a certain issue. I have taken it before eating a meal I know will be harder to digest – like red meats – but I find it easier to just take in the morning once.

Just make sure you don’t take it by itself and add it to water.
